THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Production Manger, the Industrialization Engineer will play a pivotal role in optimising the manufacturing processes of metal components; ensuring they meet the House's exacting standards for quality, design integrity, and production efficiency.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the excellence of a globally recognised luxury brand from its Porto production hub, working on precision metal parts that form the signature details of iconic products.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

→ Analyse existing production methods for metal parts, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality.

→ Design and develop specialised tools, molds, and fixtures for the manufacturing of metal components.

→ Evaluate and select appropriate metallic materials, considering mechanical properties, aesthetic requirements, cost-effectiveness and luxury durability standards.

→ Collaborate with R&D, quality control, and production teams to develop and refine new metal components from prototype to full-scale production.

→ Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure all metal parts meet design specifications and luxury standards.

→ Manage relationships with external suppliers and subcontractors for metal parts manufacturing.

→ Stay current with advancements in metal manufacturing technologies, materials, and best practices within the luxury sector.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a precision-driven engineering professional with a genuine passion for craftsmanship and manufacturing excellence — someone who thrives at the interface of technical rigour and luxury quality standards.

→ 5-7 years proven experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering, or process optimisation with a significant focus on metal parts.

→ Background in luxury goods, automotive, jewellery or a related precision sector strongly preferred.

→ Expertise in manufacturing processes for precision metal components (stamping, casting, CNC machining, polishing).

→ Strong knowledge of metallic materials (brass, zamak, stainless steel) and their properties, treatments, and finishes.

→ Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).

→ Experience with quality control methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

→ Fluency in English; Italian and/or French a significant advantage.

→ Right to work in Portugal / EU required.
